Stress is a normal occurrence in life, and knowing how to effectively deal with it is important .
Here are a few of our favorite techniques:
1. Learn to say "no" - Many of us take on too many tasks and we can get overwhelmed. While it is not always fun, sometimes knowing your limits and saying no to specific requests can be very beneficial.
2. Rely on your support system - Our friends and family can be an enormous help when it comes to stress. Even if it is just to have someone we can vent to, remembering that seek support when you need it is crucial.
3. Time Management - Planning your day, or week can make all the difference. It will let you see what needs to be done, and you can get a game plan together ahead of time.
4. Yoga (or Exercise) - It may seem silly but taking a few minutes to really take care of yourself will help and exercise is one way for us to constructively eliminate or work through stress.
